RT @briefingroom: Townhall: Cap-and-trade legislation before Congress could cost U.S. 2 million jobs by 2030, Meredit.. http://bit.ly/4dTRs4
Norma from TennesseePlease do not pass the legislation before Congress that is called the Cap and Trade Bill. This will destroy jobs and raise taxes on the ordinary citizens of this country. We have extra-ordinary amounts of energy in our country, but congress refuses to allow us to use that energy. Absolutely stupid!
Shamim from GeorgiaAs a part time worker, I cannot afford to pay higher gasoline prices.
Michael from AlaskaThe prospect of our country losing more of our own domestic energy production, sending that overseas, at a time when the public is obviously upset with being dependent on foreign energy sources, it’s kind of a bad idea to increase that problem by basically attacking our on energy production at home.
Nancy from OhioIf this bill passes, I don’t know how I’m going to be able to afford to pay energy costs when I’m on a fixed income and it will just keep me from being able to drive a car, my house will be even colder than what it’s been, and I don’t know where the money is going to come from when the money that comes in isn’t enough to take care of it now.
