Voter registration is the process by which you become eligible to cast your ballot and Vote4Energy. It allows the government to check your eligibility to vote. In every state, except North Dakota, you must register before you can vote.
Voting for your candidates
Part of voter registration is making sure you vote for the candidates where you live. When you register, the elections officials match you to the district where you live. This is important because election boundaries are based on population and they can be vast (for example, can run between blocks on the same street).
