Calvin from New MexicoLet’s put the shoe on the other foot, what if we quit paying taxes, let’s put the governmental FREELOADERS on the same boat. I realize that things would do nothing but get worse, WE ARE HEADED THAT DIRECTION NOW!! If this bill is passed as is, my coworkers, as well as I, will be one of many others joining the unemployment line. Don’t get me wrong, this is a good bill, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE REFINED.
Richard from New MexicoI work in the oil and gas industry in South Eastern New Mexico. It has been hard these last few months to stay a float. I do not know what would happen to my job security if this bill passes. If I loose my job, how would I support my family?
Greg from New MexicoWhether you believe in climate change or not, and what is really driving it, we have to have energy now while we work on new cleaner energy sources. The legislation now being considered by our elected officials does absolutely nothing to support the use of the natural resources (natural gas, coal, or nuclear) inside our own country to get us by until the “green jobs” materialize.
Jim from New MexicoI think it’s very short-sided legislation, it discounts current jobs in New Mexico, and future jobs in New Mexico.
Dianne from New MexicoI don’t believe the legislation is good in the form it is in now. I think if we’re going to do it this way, there needs to be a lot of changes to it.
