Memphians, tell your City Council to support jobs, energy infrastructure and economic development!
The Memphis City Council members are considering an ordinance to create more red tape and bureaucracy for pipelines and infrastructure. Ordinance 5782 would prevent Southwest Tennessee from getting the reliable energy and numerous other benefits from the construction of a federally and state approved pipeline.
In Tennessee and throughout the country, the energy products carried in pipelines fuel our lives and our livelihoods. They heat our homes and schools, power US factories, and enable our daily commutes. Pipelines are one of the safest ways to transport energy, far safer than trucking or other ground options.
Make your voice heard by telling your Council Member to vote NO on ordinance 5782 and asking them to support jobs, economic development, and energy infrastructure.
