The American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers Association is hosting a tele-townhall on electric vehicle mandates this Monday, October 30, and you’re invited! 

The town hall is focused on Virginia’s vehicle regulations, specifically the 2021 law signed by former Governor Ralph Northam that requires Virginia to follow California’s electric vehicle sales mandate and the ongoing effort led by Governor Glenn Youngkin to have the 2021 law repealed.

• Virginia Delegate Tony Wilt: sponsor of legislation to repeal the 2021 law and take away California’s control over the cars Virginians will and won’t be able to buy in future years. 
• Steven Bradbury: Distinguished Fellow at the Heritage Foundation and a frequent writer and speaker about vehicle policy issues. 
• Chet Thompson:  President and CEO of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM). 

The panel will conclude with a question-and-answer session.
