Jim from New MexicoI think it’s very short-sided legislation, it discounts current jobs in New Mexico, and future jobs in New Mexico.
David from TennesseeI work for the State Air Pollution Control Agency. I think the global warming concept is not true and wonder why the evidence that shows that and the experts who say global warming is incorrect are ignored by others (the media).
Jeffrey from NebraskaI do believe that any increased costs, significant increased costs, in energy will cost way more jobs across the entire economy. In our business when the economy is down, when people are losing jobs, when peoples budgets are being crunched because they have to spend so much more money for their goods and services and their gas and their energy, they buy less.
Norma from TennesseePlease do not pass the legislation before Congress that is called the Cap and Trade Bill. This will destroy jobs and raise taxes on the ordinary citizens of this country. We have extra-ordinary amounts of energy in our country, but congress refuses to allow us to use that energy. Absolutely stupid!
