Brad from IndianaCertainly I think, in these trying times, if you look at just the economy in general, the impact it’s having on ordinary hoosiers, anytime you’re looking at increasing household expenses while household revenue remains the same, you cant help but think that’s going to hurt the average family.
Calvin from New MexicoLet’s put the shoe on the other foot, what if we quit paying taxes, let’s put the governmental FREELOADERS on the same boat. I realize that things would do nothing but get worse, WE ARE HEADED THAT DIRECTION NOW!! If this bill is passed as is, my coworkers, as well as I, will be one of many others joining the unemployment line. Don’t get me wrong, this is a good bill, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE REFINED.
Arlen from TexasArlen is a petroleum engineer who has had a successful career producing oil and gas resources in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. He believes the solution to our energy needs is INNOVATION, not taxation. People who work in the energy industry today are passionate about our need to protect the environment. They have the creativity to meet our energy needs now and develop the cleaner alternative resources for the future.
Bryan from OhioIf it would jump the price of gas to $4 a gallon, that would end up costing me about $200 to $250 a month in extra fuel costs, and people are just going to tighten up and not start spending their money, which is going to deprive me of work.
